I had made over a million dollars in my last buiness. For over a decade we had a wonderful income and allowed us to travel the world with our ministry and even open an office in Africa. Then unforeseen circumstances out of my control dropped our income by 80% and our savings were lost. I tried many ways to increase our business and income but nothing worked. For 4 years we were in desperate times.
My wife and I love to give - it's been our life for over 30 years. We fully support our ministry office and staff in Africa. When our income dropped we couldn't do much any longer. We could only send minimal amounts to support our partners in Africa who depended on us. We couldn't help our children with their car repairs or other needs. It tool a toll on my relationship with my wide and we felt the tension of having little money. I rarely had enough to take her out on a date. The real heartache was that we are both very smart, educated and talented people - yet nothing was working for us.
When my friend George introduced me to Max in January 2007 I saw a chance to turn things around. I understood the power of the product and the compensation and the leadership and was amazed. I joined Max and gave myself 2 years to get back to a six figure annual income and 5 years to 7 figures.
I made the first goal. Now we're giving again - more than we ever have. We're helping our kids and our grandkids with their dreams. Our self esteem and confidence has gone way back up. We're sending more and more money and supplies to our African partners. And we've helped thousands of other people improve their health and create incomes of their own. For us that's a blessing from God. We're heading for our next goal because our vision - our purpose of giving and helping other around the world - is too big to go for anything less.
