For over 40 years my wife Marylyn and I have been in full time ministry - directing a non-profit mission agency, and for all of these years we have derived our income from outside contributions. Over the last 4 years - due primary to the economy - we have watched those donations drop month after month and we were getting very close to not being able to make the monthly bills. On top of that - given the small salary we had received, there was not must set aside for retirement either...
